The Center for Menstrual Disorders and Reproductive Choice (CMDRC) was founded in 1986 and has provided some very important alternatives for women in New York State, and much of the northeastern United Sates. The Center was founded to provide exceptionally highly specialized care for women with a focus on the minimally invasive management of abnormal menstrual bleeding as well as compassionate and safe care for women seeking abortion services and specialized contraceptive options.

We have two important goals in your healthcare. The first is to provide the best possible approach to your problem in our region. At times this involves the use of outside consultant. In those instances we will suggest only the most reputable physicians and we will coordinate your care so that your needs are met in a professional, caring and well-thought-out approach. Our second goal is to provide you with the best possible opportunity to become educated about your particular health care issues. To this end, we have produced many of our own videotapes and pamphlets, as well as extensive web-based material which are available to you—some of it even from this website. We also make use of a variety of Internet libraries and resources that are available only to physicians' offices.
